WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP US RUN OUR RECITALS AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE.  SIGN UP TODAY AND IF CHOOSEN FOR YOUR CLASS YOU'LL RECIEVE A $20 CREDIT TO YOUR ACCOUNT.  SPACES ARE LIMITED TO TWO VOLUNTEERS PER GROUP.

Details & Information for Each Performance: 

Tickets and Seating: Each performer will receive two tickets to the show via email prior to the performance. Seating first comes first serve, please do not sit in reserved or dancer seating. Pick your seats and enjoy while we take care of everything. Dancers will be grouped together in the audience with an adult volunteer.  You are required to check in before and check out after the show with the class volunteer.  We are still in need of volunteers. 

Costume Care: The week before the recital please steam the costume to remove wrinkles; if a steamer is not available, hang it in the bathroom during a steamy shower. It is best to hang the costume upside down for the skirt/tutu to fluff to its fullest.

Hair & Makeup:  Hair should be styled up and out of the dancer's face.  We do not require a specific hair style; we want all our dancers to enjoy the day of the show and to look their best.  Makeup should include eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick.  Here is a simple tutorial on YouTube to watch: https://youtu.be/2YYEsVyqO1s?si=frF_Nj3u1eQ6izPR     

Shoes: Ballet Shoes are required for Recital participation and must be purchased separately.  To coordinate with our costumes, we ask that female dancers purchase pink shoes and male dancers purchase black shoes.  If your dancer is enrolled in a class with tap, please make sure to double check if ballet or tap shoes are needed. Shoes can be purchased at local shops like Target and Walmart or online via Amazon here: PURCHASE ONLINE

Pre-order Recital Flowers: Don't forget to pre-order your flower bouquets! Video of the Show: Recital registration includes the digital download of the show. Each dance will be posted individually.  Flash photography is prohibited during the show and rehearsal. Video will be available 1-2 weeks after the show and sent via email.
