Cardboard Jungle - Jumpin' Jungle

Get your supplies ready and let's get crafting.
We used crayons to color our animals, but paint would be best. Crayons are what we had on hand and are easy to use with little ones. |

Let's start with our Jungle Tree. Grab one toilet paper tube and cut four equally spaced slits on one side. Then take your paper plate and color it however you like. Next, cut the paper place in half, then cut a slit in the top of one and the bottom of the other. Line up the slits on the paper plate and make sure the two pieces fit together and match up. Finally, slide the paper plate pieces into the slits on the toilet paper roll. And now you have a jungle tree.

Let's make an animal! Here we are attempting an elephant made out of a toilet paper roll. Start by coloring your tube. Then use your imaginative and be creative cutting out the head and ears. Use the entire top portion of the tube. Next, cut out a trunk and feet. Color two eyes and there you go!

The snake is super easy and fun to create. Color your toilet paper roll however you like. Then start at the bottom where the end of the tail is going to be. Use your scissors and slit the tube and continue cutting spacing it out, making sure the pieces are getting wider till your all the way through the tube. To finish, round off the end that is the head and color two eyes.
