4th of July Windsock - America the Great

This craft is both fun to create and a great decoration for the 4th of July holiday. There are many items you can use for this craft, but we went with a can and ribbons. Check out the supplies below.
Here are the supplies you will need: 1. Pick one: Can, Toilet Paper or Paper Towel Roll or Cup 2. Paper or Paint to decorate the outside 3. Ribbons or Streamers 4. Glue 5. Scissors |

Get your supplies ready and let's get crafting.
We used an empty can, ribbons, paper, tape, scissors, and a hot glue gun. Any of the options above will work with these instructions. |

First, remove both ends of the can and make sure it is clean and dry. Cut paper to size of the can and glue it in place. Next, we cut fun shapes out of a contrasting colored paper and glued those on. You can also use paint, stickers, or whatever you have at home.

Last, glue one ribbon to the top as a handle and multiple ribbons to the bottom. Go outside and enjoy!
